Draft for counsel review

Terms of Service for an intermediary lead platform

These terms need to protect the operator, explain the platform role, and reduce ambiguity for customers and businesses before real traffic arrives.

  • Ryan’s Connections acts only as an intermediary connecting customers and service providers.
  • The platform is not the contractor, subcontractor, or service performer for any booked work.
  • Businesses remain responsible for their own licensing, insurance, workmanship, and legal compliance.
  • The platform does not guarantee work quality, provider performance, or customer satisfaction.
  • The platform does not guarantee that any lead will convert into a booked job.
  • Customers should independently verify credentials before hiring any provider.
  • Businesses must be told when a lead becomes chargeable and what makes a lead valid.
  • Refund requests must follow documented lead validity rules and support review timelines.
  • Payment and invoice history should stay visible in the business portal for billing transparency.
  • Service disputes between customers and businesses remain between those parties unless platform billing is involved.
  • Businesses may not misuse leads, resell contact data, or harass customers.
  • Customers must provide accurate information when submitting a request.
  • The platform does not endorse any provider simply because they appear on the marketplace.
  • Lead routing order and recipient visibility should be recorded for later review.
  • Records may be retained for several years for taxes, fraud prevention, and dispute defense.
